Concept
After discussing the company's needs for a durable, elegant solution to displaying sample PCBs with some technical information that can be brought to meetings with potential clients, I came up with the 'Board Book'.   I sketched and modeled the concept of a screw bound book with a cutout the correct shape and thickness for holding the circuit board flat, with a transparent page that overlaid the board with its information.
Design Files
Using the actual design files for the circuit boards, I converted the file to an eps. readable by the laser cutter's equipment, and edited it to create a perfect empty slot for each of the boards selected.  I created teh overlay pages with information from the order files of each board and had it printed on velllum.  The covers I designed separately and worked with a local book binding company to produce.
Final Product

The book binders took the laser-cut pages and laminated them, bound the pages to the correct shapes, and added the cover, while securing the boards in the pages.  The product became the standard for showcasing the quality of manufacturing and attention to detail that the company brings to PCB manufacturing.
